Chattari Mangalam
Names the four auspicious refuges. Commonly recited after the Namokar Mantra.
- चत्तारि मंगलं Cattāri maṅgalaṃ Four are auspicious:
- अरिहंता मंगलं Arihantā maṅgalaṃ the Arihants are auspicious,
- सिद्धा मंगलं Siddhā maṅgalaṃ the Siddhas are auspicious,
- साहू मंगलं Sāhū maṅgalaṃ the ascetics are auspicious,
- केवलिपण्णत्तो धम्मो मंगलं Kevali-paṇṇatto dhammo maṅgalaṃ the dharma expounded by the omniscient ones is auspicious.
