Khamemi Savve Jiva

The forgiveness verse at the heart of Kshamavani and Samvatsari — asked of every being, without sorting the deserving from the undeserving first.

खामेमि सव्वे जीवे Khāmemi savve jīve I forgive all beings,
सव्वे जीवा खमंतु मे Savve jīvā khamantu me may all beings forgive me.
मित्ती मे सव्वभूएसु Mittī me savva-bhūesu I hold friendship toward all creatures,
वेरं मज्झ न केणई Veraṃ majjha na kenaī and enmity toward none.

Verified against multiple independent sources during this session, including one explicitly describing its use in Digambara pratikramana as well as Svetambara — the basis for marking it 'both' rather than one tradition's alone. "Michhami Dukkadam", the phrase most readers know, is a related shorthand rather than a line of this verse itself.
